Senior Match report

Basset Down Seniors hosted Deanwood Park for the return leg of their fixture, played in extremely wet and windy conditions. Having already secured an away win at Deanwood, Basset Down were looking to complete the double — and they did so in style.

With the match reduced to just four games, the Basset Down team delivered a dominant performance, winning all four matches for a comprehensive victory.

Individual honours went to Alan Dent, who claimed the longest drive, and Graham Short, who won nearest the pin.

Congratulations to both teams for completing their matches in such testing conditions.

The next fixture takes place on 19th June at home against Brinkworth Golf Club. A sign-up sheet is now available on the clubhouse noticeboard.
